Team Blau Group Lanka Private Limited. The Name is being derived from the name of our founder. He has always been inspired and motivated by teamwork and modern technology. He’s ever had the vision of a better and brighter tomorrow.
Having established its roots at home in Germany as Team Blau GmbH in the field of IT and Engineering, it has now successfully spread its wings to bring renewable energy to Asian Markets. Sri Lanka being the Land Like no Other was the first to join the Team Blau Family – here we focus on harnessing the energy of the sun.
Bringing technology that has been tested and proven to provide sustainable energy in Germany, specifically solar, was the vision that Karlheinz Blau had for Sri Lanka. Seeing that Sri Lanka enjoys the sun almost all of the year (even during the monsoon), opened the window of opportunity to help the Sri Lankans benefit from this free natural resource.
Seeing that sustainability must be supported by reliability, safety, efficiency, productivity and responsibility, it was obvious that proven and branded products were needed for an emerging market as Sri Lanka. With this, Team Blau GmbH partnered with SMA Sunbelt to be the official representative in Sri Lanka through Team Blau Group Lanka to serve this country as the appointed reliable partner on site with a team of experts.
Team Blau Group GmbH is also working closely with the 2 governments for the effective exchange of technology and trade that will further strengthen their partnership.

Karlheinz Blau has 30 years of experience as an engineer in mechanical engineering and IT, management in various industries and furthermore in consulting, operation, service, coaching, reorganization, development of divisions and companies, development of products.
In his honorary position with the Bavarian Employers Associations, Karlheinz Blau was a technical advisor for the associations and for several cooperating Bavarian ministries for four years.
His vision for the company is based on the above conviction and the name of his company TEAM BLAU is not just words but daily guideline for his work.

Oliver Schöner, Chief Executive Officer of TEAM BLAU GROUP

Oliver Schöner has 15 years of experience in IT as well as management in the public sector and several enterprises. Furthermore, in consulting, operation, service, coaching, setting up areas and companies.
With his getting things done attitude Oliver is responsible for the company’s performance and for the Human Resources Management.

York Philips has over 30 years of experience in the corporate public sector with 25 years being in Sales and Marketing. He has been the head of international organizations overlooking Sri Lanka and other countries as the country head. He is a Sri Lankan born with exposure to international business which give him the strength to as the perfect link between the German and the Sri Lankan World.
